Written Lessons

A course of instruction offered by Churches Under Christ Ministry Covering the Biblical principles of government, church, the relationship of church and state, the history of the First Amendment, the removal of God from practically all civil government matters, the application by churches of the principle of Bible principles concerning church and state in America

This course is presented in both written and video format. The video lecture accompanying each written lesson will be 3 1/2 to six minutes. The student should not only watch the video but also read the short but more detailed written lesson. The written lessons and accompanying Youtube lectures are being added as completed.

It is important to keep in mind the ultimate purpose of these lessons—to teach what God says about His desired relationship between church and state. In order to know what that is, a believer must understand what God says about government (individual, family, civil, and church governments), their places, their jurisdictions, their organizations, their conduct, their goals, their histories. Believers in America, except for a small remnant, have no clue as to those matters. They have not proceeded with knowledge, wisdom and understanding. They have, for the most part, been deceived by false religious leaders, mainly pastors many of whom were miseducated on these matters by Bible Colleges and Seminaries.

Mainline “Christianity” in America promotes a false eschatology, a false view of the return of our Lord. Many teach that the church will prepare the earth for the Lord’s return and present the kingdom to him when he returns. They also very successfully convince most Christians of lies such as “Separation of Church and State is not found in the Constitution,” “the Mayflower Compact is the birth certificate of America,” we owe our form of government to John Calvin more than any other man, and so on.

For decades, they have convinced “Christians” that they can change things if they will all work together as activists in the political system. Many churches have fallen for their lies and seek to save the country for God through their political efforts.  Their efforts have been counterproductive. Why? Because not according to knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. They have sought to do God’s work behind a refuge of lies. How in the world do they think they can get a nation right with God when their churches are not right with God. The materials on this website explain the root problem with church organization and how churches dig it out and organize God’s way as entities totally separate from civil government.

Note. God teaches union of God and state, not union of church and state. You will find out what that means from the resources on this website.

*Answers by Jerald Finney, a Christian lawyer who has done intense studies of the history of the First Amendment and Bible principles of church, state, and separation of church and state. The local church sanctified and cleansed by the washing of water by the word——————–A ministry of Charity Baptist Tabernacle of Amarillo, Texas led by Pastor Ben Hickam. "Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ" (2 Corinthians 11:1-3). ————————————Jerald Finney, a Christian Lawyer and member of Charity Baptist Tabernacle, having received this ministry in the Lord, explains how a church in America can remain under the Lord Jesus Christ and Him only. "As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen" (1 Peter 4:10-11; See also, Ephesians 4::1-16 and 1 Corinthians 12:1-25). "Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it" (Colossians 4:17). "And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church" (Ephesians 1.22; See also, e.g. Colossians 1:18).
