Review the verses given in the lesson that prove that God ordained nations, that He is over every nation, but that He gives every nation a temporary choice of whether to submit itself to the sovereign God, that prove that God is over all nations and wishes each nation to choose to glorify Him. The next time you read through the Old Testament, note what is being taught about civil government and nations.
